Austin's art calendar moves in evenings and weekends. Openings around the Red River Cultural District and Rainey Street cluster on the same nights — which is what makes gallery-hopping possible — alongside longer-running exhibitions, open-studio days and artist talks. A good number are free to attend but still ticketed, since private views are capped.
Gallery openings and private views, ticketed exhibitions, open studios, artist talks and art-week programming. Listings come from the galleries and independent organizers running them, so they include one-off shows as well as institutional dates.

Continuously. The page is rebuilt on every visit from live listings, so an event appears as soon as its organizer puts tickets on sale and drops off once it has passed or sold out.
